Photowalk #5 pics I finally got about 30 minutes to post this after a late, late night in the lab, so my apologies to everyone in the group. Regardless, Photowalk #5 was an outstanding success with 75 people attending to learn and get exposure to studio lighting. We met many new faces from other Utah photography groups and have decided, given that so many people at this photowalk came from outside Salt Lake City, to rename the group Photowalking Utah complete with our own domain name that currently forwards to the Flickr group. The group has as of now, grown to 90 members and I am grateful to all who showed up, participated and helped organize this event including Pictureline who donated schwag for the outing. Ann has a most complete write up here, and here, but others have entries as well including Annie, Jeremy, Rich and Mike. Be sure to read Ann's entry as she covers many of the educational aspects and I always value her perspective on experience. Stay tuned for the next Photowalk announcement... Given that it will still likely be quite cold out, this Photowalk will be another indoor event with more tutorials, this time of Photoshop, but we are planning on an environment where we can also shoot images of architecture. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Posted: Wed - January 16, 2008 at 12:44 AM |
