Canyon to Canyon Half Marathon





Today H ran the Canyon to Canyon half marathon while I took pictures and scoped out places to flyfish. Unfortunately much of the land around the course appeared to be privately owned with signs posted everywhere announcing no fishing. Bummer.

Happily, I also met up with Gabi Lach again this year. I met her last year at the race where we talked photography and was pleased to run into her again this year. Check out her photographs as she really is quite talented. It is a small world of course and one is always amazed at how small circles are and how few degrees of separation there are. Gabi is a programmer for a local healthcare software company and at one point attended the University of Utah School of Computing having worked with a friend and collaborator of mine, Ross Whitaker.
