This is my friend and colleague Silke Becker photographed in the lobby of the Moran Eye Center. Silke is a post-doc in Frans Vinberg’s laboratory (@fvinberg) working with Fatima on light adaptation, understanding how the retina processes this information over brightness and color in normal retina and in diseases like age-related macular degeneration (AMD).
