We have our traditions that are inviolate to me. Traditions are crucial in tying the collective us to the legacies that we leave behind. It binds our lives with others, and memorializes shared experience. One of these days, we will be gone, our traditions might or might not live on, but I’d like to think that some ghost of those traditions will live on, in a small way in the lives of others.
