Another person I had a chance to meet at the Fire Conference a couple of weeks ago was Joseph Smarr (@jsmarr). Unfortunately, I did not have as much time as I would have liked to talk with Joseph as I would have liked, so we’ll have to pick it up at the next opportunity, or on Twitter. Joseph was a member of the Google Photos team and connected our network graph through Dave Cohen and Vincent Mo, who I spent a week with in Cuba. I swear, the world gets smaller and smaller all the time. Joseph is now a member of the Google Assistant team and as such has an interest in Artificial Intelligence. That is a conversation I’d love to have sometime with respect to neural systems that we talked about at the meeting.
