I had a chance to meet with Michael Barry at the Detroit Eye and the Chip conference, and then share conversation and a car ride with him to the airport after the meeting. Michael is a PhD Candidate in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at Johns Hopkins University. His work in bionic retinas has earned him accolades and I look forward to seeing where his career takes him.
