I met Thomas Reardon at Google SciFoo17 a couple of weeks ago.  Thomas is an interesting guy, responsible for the creation of Microsoft’s web browser, Internet Explorer.  What made him interesting to me was that he then left Microsoft and immersed himself in academia, finishing with a Ph.D. in neuroscience with Thomas Jessell.  He is now leading a company called CTRL-labs, interested in brain/machine interfaces with some very cool ideas.
