Bipolar Cell Axons

Each of these colored lines represents a subset of annotated bipolar cell axons in the retina of a mouse, mapped out from our second M-RC2 connectome.  Each one of these processes in this area is around 500nm across as they course from the cell body down into the retina.

I have many words to say about this volume and what it represents in terms of our scientific investment in it, but that will have to wait for another time.
