I had the chance to run down to Manhattan do take care of some business and meet up with a friend and his family, David Schoppik.  After giving a talk, I had 2 hours to walk around mid-town before meeting up with David and Katherine Nagel at their laboratories in NYU Medical Center, followed by a lovely dinner with their family.  Thank you David and Katherine.

I do love NYC with its vibrance, and hustle.  The food, the arts, and the people are all reasons to keep coming back.  Next time, I’ll try to allow for more time to simply walk and explore with cameras in hand. Unfortunately, this trip like all others recently was cut short by the need to get back to my laboratory and write grants.
