I’ve known my friend Jon (@siliconjesus) for somewhere in the range of 20 years, but this is the first time that we’ve actually shared time/space. Jon was in town for a supercomputing conference and I got back in town just in time to get together for breakfast and hang out for a couple of hours. We first met in the early days of Slashdot and have stayed in touch along with a passel of other folks spread out over the world ever since (Hi Slashdot Circle!) through a myriad of social networks, finally landing on Twitter.
