David Copenhagen visited the Moran Eye Center to give a talk on vascular patterning in the eye, discuss science and fortunately for me, sit for an In My Office portrait. The funny thing is that I’ve always loved his work and for some reason was always intimidated by him. Turns out, in addition to being one of the smartest people in vision science, David is also one of the nicest. It was a wonderful visit and I look forward to talking with him again.
