My friend and colleague Dr. Hiroko Terasaki visited the Moran Eye Center which was a total delight and she honored me with an In My Office Portrait. Dr. Terasaki was one of the crucial pieces in our use of a large eye model of retinal degeneration. We could not have done the work without her efforts, and I am looking forward to returning the favor of a visit when I am in Japan later this year.
