I’ve been working hard on a couple of manuscripts recently along with some data from other collaborators and came across this image from a larger field that I thought was particularly beautiful. What you are looking at are some muscle fibers around the eye (gold colors) with neurons running through them (the turquoise fibers). Because this comes from a collaboration, I can’t say much more about this context of this particular data set for now, but it is interesting and beautiful all at the same time.
