Just curious, why did you pick to shoot with the 1DmkIV and not your new 1DX?

The Mk IV was the first camera I grabbed. Honestly, the moon is soooo bright that the low light capabilities of the 1DX are not needed (ISO 500 and f/11) and I knew that with 300mm, I was going to crop anyhow.

Nice moon, 1D is the legend of photographic equipment
Thanks. The 1D is good gear, no doubt. But its very heavy and getting bigger. Canon should slim the pro profile down some.
